Coors Brewing Company and Delta State University's Delta Center for Cultural & Learning Department co-sponsored The H.A.D. AWARDS

Hakim Johnson (son of the late civil rights veteran, Ms. June E. Johnson) accepts The Hamer Adams
Devine Humanitarian Services Award, posthumously, on her behalf. Mr. Ned Tolliver, Jr. and Mr.
Roosevelt Grenell received the "Amzie Moore Agent for Change Award". Both men were the first
black elected officials in Cleveland, MS, home of Amzie Moore. Mr. Reuben Smith received an award
of appreciation for his Civil Rights Activism while working with Amzie Moore, Fannie Lou Hamer and
numerous other veterans on October 7, 2007 at Delta State University's Jobe Hall in Cleveland, MS.
